After 6pm, Bangla closes to all traffic and becomes open to pedestrians only making this the center od festivities each night and the best place to meet new friends. The most popular nightclubs just off Bangla Road are Seduction and Hollywood Disco. These clubs don't get pumping until after midnight where you will find many of the local service staff of Phuket congregate to let their hair down. Throw in a few hundreds tourists from all over the world and you have a great mix for one huge party. Jungceylon Shopping Mall is the premier shopping and entertainment complex in Patong where you could easily spend half a day exploring its 300 shops, food courts, restaurants and bars. The O-Top Market on Rat-U-Thid Road is another popular shopping spot for singlets, t-shirts, thongs, scalfs etc and also has many outdoor bars and eateries.
