We all know that going on a vacation with the family is less of a vacation for you and more of a vacation for the kids. If you have a lot of kids, it is probably best to drive if you can. It sounds like a hassle as well as a nightmare, but can you imagine trying to carry all of their luggage as well as yours and having to keep them in line. Especially if you have younger kids, this would be even more of a nightmare. If you do not have a suitcase for each person, you might need to take a trip to the nearest store and get one unless you can fit your children's clothing together in one suitcase which might be a good idea to save space. While you are at the store, you can get the things such as toiletries or any snacks you want for the car.The third and final step to the process is to gather everything together in one room. Split your things up by person and place them next to your suitcase but not in it yet. The best time to do this is if the kids are at a friend's house or at school. After everything is together, you can place everything in the suitcase while you check it off on the list again just to make sure you get everything.Once you are finished packing, you can get everything into the car just before you go. Give each kid a blanket and a pillow and some snacks for the back of the car. You can also give them games to occupy them. Then you are on your way!
