The current medications for this sickness have a goal to lower the intraocular pressure or IOP. However, some of them have significant side affects. The drugs that are ideal for the treatment are named as Alpha-agonists, Beta-blockers, Miotics, Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors etc. These medications help to reduce the quantity of fluid inside the eyes. The Prostaglandin analogs help to enhance the depletion of the theses fluids or the aqueous humor. The physical experts also try to give proper nourishment to the sensitive tissues of the eyes.

The conjunctivitis is a condition where the conjunctiva gets severe swellings and inflammation. The conjunctiva is a type of membrane that covers the outer surface of the eyeballs. The treatment for conjunctivitis includes the doses of board-spectrum antibiotics like Ocuflox and Ciloxan. A new type of medication has been approved by the Food and Drug Association. The drug named as Besifloxacin is also good for the treatment. The medical experts suggest for eye drops and eye ointments to apply inside the eyes. Some doses of Sodium cromoglycate are also good. There are also many antibiotic and anti-allergic eye drops. Physical experts also recommend Penicillin.
