India is one of the fastest growing countries in the world and that is why the growth must be clear in all the parts. This is very important to reach various parts of the country to spread aware about education, girl child and AIDS. There are many other issues and the rural people must know and understand them properly. However, the big problem is that central government cannot do that regularly. That is why most of the NGOs have become the voice of the rural people to the government and at the same time face of the government to the people. They are creating the awareness about education, diseases and many other things. Hopefully they will be successful to create the awareness slowly but steadily. Right now AIDS and child care are quite an issue in many areas. Many problems happen because of the lack of knowledge. Many business owners are now donating to the funds of NGOs and that is why they can now work harder to educate these people.
Many people have a lot of misconceptions regarding the NGOs. That is not true because most of the NGOs work sincerely for the welfare of the people. Right now many NGOs are trying to create awareness about sex and various sexual diseases among the people. AIDS is one such disease they need to be aware of. Those who know about it think that the person must say out of locality and many other misconceptions are there. The government is also trying to create the awareness but you need to be there among the people to make them aware of the risk. There are some educational programs so that the people can understand the problems and real situation. If they avoid someone having AIDS then that is not the right attitude. They must understand how AIDS can spread. There are many areas where people kill their girl child right after their birth. They think that girl child is just a burden and all they want is a baby boy. They must understand that both girl and boy must be welcomed in the family as both of them are important for our society and none of us have the right to kill a life.
These people are living way below the poverty line. They often sent their children to the cities to work and send money back to them. Child laboris illegal and that is why they must not send their children for these works. Many people even sell their girl child and that is a crime. The government body has become aware of all these things and that is why they are sending groups along with the NGOs so that people can understand various things and schemes. The people must take interest in the welfare programs. Only then there life will be improved.
