The increased interest in the UK point to a recurring trend in staycation holidays this year. Newquay has emerged as one of the most up and coming UK holiday destinations jumping from 49th place to 31st place in the top 50 destinations list.
While cities like Florida, Malaga, Dalaman and Orlando are the next cities following the two which is the NY and Spain. Greece climbed two places in the quarter to seventh, boosted by the surging interest in resorts and Zante, as well as, Rhodes, Crete, and Corfu. It is much cheaper holidays and the prices are low in which Greece has also adapted since last year is paying dividends.
