If youre lucky, you will end up at Studley Park Boathouse, at the easternmost end.
Studley Park Boathouse is Melbournes oldest boathouse, and the Boathouse Restaurant is an ode to old-fashioned the dining, with its white linen tablecloths, straight-backed chairs, glassed in verandah and long wine list.
