More Ways To Save Time In Your Ebay Business

Save time in your eBay business by re-cycling your listings

. Use eBay's FREE Turbo Lister. If you sell the same item over and over again on eBay, just save the listing in Turbo-Lister. If you sell one-offs and so need to write new listings each time you sell an item on eBay, you can re-cycle all your terms and conditions by saving them as a template on Turbo Lister.

Instead of shipping the items that you have sold on eBay every day, ship every other day. Go to the post office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Your listing should state that you ship within 2 working days. If it takes an hour to go to the post office and back, this will save you 3 hours per week (by NOT going to the post office on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning). It may not sound like much but that's 156 hours saved a year! You can spend those 156 hours researching, studying and improving your business; or having leisure time; or getting fit; or whatever YOU want to do.

Once your eBay business takes off, consider using a carrier who will collect the items you've sold on eBay from you. Compare costs and service standards for delivering your product, which will vary depending on its size and weight, and use the service that is best for you in your location.

Try to get as much of your eBay business as possible SYSTEMIZED - you can then employ someone to do most of it for you. Let's say you are earning $10,000 a month but working 10 hours a day to fulfil all your orders. Why not pay someone $2,000 a month to do most of the mundane work for you? They will work 8 hours a day so you only have to work 2 hours a day. You've swapped 10 hours a day earning $10,000 a month for 2 hours a day earning $8,000 a month. Seems like a good deal to me!

You can then spend more time on leisure and/or building your eBay business or on other money-making activities.

Set up an email signature that shows not just your name but also your company name, address, contact numbers and website (or About Me page if you don't have a website yet). This will automatically appear in all your emails so you don't have to write it in each time.

Keep records of all your eBay transactions so if there's a problem or a complaint, you can QUICKLY and EASILY identify what has happened and prove that you sent the item or whatever. This is better than looking back through your emails, etc trying to piece together the chain of events whenever there is a problem. Keep a record of the item, listing number, date the eBay auction ended, date payment received, how payment was made, date sent, tracking number (if there is one), insurance number (if there is one).
