By car, entrance is for those who wish to enter Miami from neighboring cities; highway l-95 follows the Atlantic coast and leads right to the heart of the city whereas highway l-75 zigzags across the cities of Tampa and Atlanta before ending in Miami. By train, the city has an access through Amtrak Silver Service which comes in from New York and Washington DC.

The prime attraction of Miami is its sandy beaches. The most famous beaches of Miami are the Miami Beach and the Haulover Beach Park. Since Miami has tropical weather, the beaches remain abuzz with activity the whole year round.

Other worthwhile places to see are the Miami Metro Zoo, Venetian Pool, Oleta River State Recreation Park, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. Miami is a city that offers everything to anyone depending upon your likeness and choice.

Accommodation

Miami is known across the globe for its designer made hotels. The only drawback with these hotels is their price of admission and congested space which is not ideal for large families visiting the city. For more spacious accommodations, some of the high rise hotels of Miami located on the South Beach are ideal, and for those who want economical place to stay there are chains of inexpensive motels in the downtown area.

Culinary Delights

Miami is the epicenter of new world of cuisine. Since being predominantly Spanish, the city offers a wide variety of Latin and South American mouth watering dishes. Most noteworthy of these eateries is the La Carreta restaurant open 24 hours a day, Baleen at Grove Isle Hotel and Spa a place, where you can experience culinary delights apart from the traditional food and also have a spa where you can unwind after a long day.
