No its not a scam its either you didn't put in enough effort to see results or you weren't being patient enough.
What also happens is people who want to make money online think its great you get to work when you want they are basically oppotunity seekers. But what they don't realize is making money online takes alot of work and persistance. Its basically a business that you are running. Most people don't trat it like a business.
