In order to develop products that people would gladly buy, companies must do their research first. They must find out what people really want before they release a product that may or may not be appealing to the masses.
What if, one day, Apple decided to develop a product that no one would buy? They would probably spend millions of dollars on developing and producing this item, only to find out that all this work was a waste.
This would be a major setback for Apple.
But this can be easily avoided. Instead of spending millions of dollars without doing any kind of research, big companies usually choose to invest into finding out what the market wants. And this can be quickly accomplished by paying people to take online surveys for them.

Well, I've been working in this area for quite some time now, I make around $700 per month, working a couple of hours in the evening.
