If you apply that rule to Network Marketing, it's like you're wasting 80% of your time and energy on the people who will never sponsor anyone. So, in order to have true success in this industry, you need to focus 100% of your efforts on the 20% of reps who are producing results. Once you do that, you will free up your time, become 10 times happier and allegedly make way more money! Before you can do that, you need to get good at recruiting. Now recruiting is an art and in order to recruit at least 50 people, you're going to have to talk to 500+ people. Think about it this way. If you can get 10 people to watch your company presentation who are already interested in Network Marketing, a percentage of them are going to join. As you talk to more people, you are going to get better at the prospecting part. Eventually you will be able to sponsor at least 1 in 10 people you personally speak to. So all you have to do is find a way of getting 500 people to watch your company presentation. You could do it online or offline. It's really up to you. Once you've done that, you need to focus all your efforts on the top 20% who are producing. From there the possibilities are endless!
