There really is no winner when it comes to online recruiting vs offline recruiting

and in this article I'm going discuss the pros and cons of both online and offline recruiting along with some tips on how to maximize your recruiting efforts.

Pros and Cons Of Offline Recruiting:

There is a lot of debate in the industry right now regarding whether the "old school", offline techniques still work. Now, the majority of the most successful network marketing businesses of all time have been built offline which goes to show that there is still some value in these "old school" methods.

Offline recruiting methods such as talking to friends and family, cold calling, buying leads, passing out dvd's, etc... are very personal recruiting techniques and are one benefit of recruiting offline as this is a great way to build relationships in your organization, and that is what network marketing is all about. If you plan on building a long-term, residual income with your MLM business, creating duplication is crucial and offline marketing is very duplicatable.

When it comes to offline recruiting, a big part of the process is dealing with rejection, which is one of the downsides of recruiting offline, as many people do not like to deal with rejection. Traditionally when being taught to recruit offline, we are taught to talk to as many people as possible about your opportunity. This is another downside to recruiting offline mainly because when you approach it this way, the majority of the people you talk to will not be interested in your opportunity and it can take longer to build a successful organization.

If done properly, these "old school" methods have proven to still be effective when it comes to building a successful network marketing business.

Lets Talk About The Pros and Cons Of Online Recruiting:

When recruiting online, a big benefit is that you are able to put yourself in front of a larger number of prospects, in a shorter amount of time. With the number of searches done every day related to network marketing or MLM, another benefit of online recruiting is that your prospects are already searching for an opportunity like the one you have to offer and will be more interested rather than some random stranger if your recruiting offline.

Unlike offline recruiting, using the Internet is a lot more technical and can be intimidating to most people which can hurt your team duplication. Another downside is that there is a much larger learning curve when it comes to recruiting online and most people either don't want to put forth the effort to learn how to properly recruit online or just don' t have the time. I will say that the network marketers that understand the power & leverage of the Internet and take the time to learn how to do it properly are absolutely dominating the industry.

There are two very important things to remember when it comes to recruiting either online or offline. When your recruiting for your MLM business, it's best to do what fits your personality. Just because one strategy works for someone else, doesn't mean it will work for you. You need to focus on doing what works best for you and what matches your personality. With that in mind, the second most important thing you need to remember is that your ultimate goal is to create duplication in your team. The best way to create duplication in your team is to understand that everyone you recruit will also have their own unique style and personality so you will need to make sure you provide them with the option to market and recruit both online and offline.

The best way to do this is is to have a system in place that your new team members can plug into and get the training and support they need whether they choose to market and recruit online or offline. You may recruit people that don't have any technical skills and want nothing to do with the Internet, and you may recruit people that hate direct selling and only want to use the Internet so it is important to have a system in place that can cater to their unique personality.

Here's the key to your MLM recruiting success... take a look into both offline and online recruiting, decide which one you think fits your style and personality, equip yourself with the proper tools & training you need, and most importantly have the willingness to take consistent action towards domination your chosen method.

Remember this... Some of the biggest network marketing businesses have built offline. With that said, with so many people looking for answers and information on the Internet, the most successful network marketers in the industry today understand the power and leverage of the Internet and are using it to dominate the industry.
