The Orchid Lodge is situated in the heart of most scenic Costa Rica
. The first impression of this place will be that this has so much more then just a Bed & Breakfast. This place has loads of character, the whole furniture has the French country feel, the comfort is such that some times you even forget that you are in the Costa Rica. This however changes the minute you see out of the big bay windows, the colors are darker and sun is generous. Lush and beautiful garden has some tables if you wish you can have the supper there as well. The place has an onsite manager who is always to happy to satisfy any special requests.Costa Rica is not a large country but it still has the incredibly diverse climate. There are things for each person to enjoy here. Each day theres something new exciting, even the street music has another feel. The guests at the orchid lodge are given choice to select the tours in many different activity level and style. There is an option of having the personalized tours also. The first tour normally is of Volcan Poas National Park, this is about half an hour away from the Orchid Lodge. This is volcano country and you will be stunned to find the luxuriant forest bed, and streams that surround the area. The volcano has about 300 meters deep Crater. Theres another crater at Botos Lagoon. This has turned into a lake over the years. The water is cold in here, the last time this volcano was erupted in 1910. This is worlds largest geyser system.
The Visit to Orchid lodge will enable you look at flora and fauna of Orchid Lodge Costa Rica and its splendid beauty. There are vegetation, the rainforest, and cloud forest also. The famous green squirrels are found nowhere else in world but here. You can also see the ferns and bonsai trees that can survive the acid rain. The rooms of Orchid Lodge are clean, and comfortable. The menu is created with delicious local produce. The meat was hearty and best friend fish you could ask for is there. You can ask for food through out the day.
