London Calling All Shopaholics!

London Calling All Shopaholics!

London is the best place in the country to indulge in a spot of retail therapy

, with the widest selection of shops to choose from. Why not take along a few friends and enjoy a fun-filled mini break in the nation's capital?

There are enough shops, boutiques and markets to keep you occupied, and in the evenings you can see a West End show, try out some international cuisine in one of the city's restaurants, or dance the night away in a bar or club. Planning a trip to London is easy if you book online, and there are lots of cheap London hotels to choose from which will be close to the shops!

When you are looking for cheap London hotels, it is a good idea to search for places which are close to the areas of the city you want to visit. Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Camden Market are all great places to treat yourself, and there are lots of cheap London hotels within each area for you to choose from. If you only want to visit Oxford Street, then cheap London hotels within walking distance would be perfect for you. However, if you fancy picking up a few bargains elsewhere in the city then cheap London hotels with good transport links are essential.

Try and search for a hotel which has a tube stop nearby, to allow you to get around the city quickly and easily. There are stations dotted throughout each area of the city, and most hotels should be within a five or ten minute walk of a nearby station. Do bear in mind that after a long day of walking and shopping you may have lots of bags and tired feet, so a long walk from the tube station to your hotel is best avoided!London Calling All Shopaholics!

Most London hotels should have a good concierge service, and this is always something which will come in handy. Friendly and knowledgeable reception staff will be able to give you maps of the city, information about which underground lines you will need to take to reach your destination, and they may even give you an umbrella to borrow if it's a wet day (quite possible in the UK!). If you don't fancy walking or taking the tube they will be able to order a taxi for you, and they may even be able to help you plan your evenings by booking tickets or placing reservations.

A good hotel is essential for any shopping trip, as you will need to recharge your batteries and relax after a long day. Luxurious rooms with spotless bathrooms and comfortable bedding are a must, and an extensive room service menu is great if you can't possibly take another step! An onsite bar and restaurant can be a great place to eat if you don't feel like venturing out, and any good hotel will also provide a filling breakfast to get you ready for another day! Finding the perfect hotel will make your stay comfortable and easy, and will help to ensure that you get the most out of the nation's shopping capital!
