London! A Shopping Mecca!

London! A Shopping Mecca!

London is the shopping city par excellence and a dream for girls with a Visa card ready

. In addition, the English capital is the perfect Christmas shopping destination. If you are early to book hotel and flights, it will not be an expensive trip, and you can travel with a good conscience. Christmas gifts have to be traded anyway!

Hamley's is a mecca for young and older children. It's one of the world's largest toy stores and it's located in Regent's Street in London, and contains seven floors of toys. The store has everything you've ever dreamed of and more, but be prepared to spend a long, long time, especially if you come with children or men..

Harrods has already opened its Christmas department "Christmas World". Here you can buy virtually anything you request of the Christmas decorations, and of course they have their own Santa Claus for the children to make greeting. The last two weekends in November, Harrods invite you to the Christmas buffet, where both adults and children can start the day in a very special atmosphere.

King Olav's favorite storeLondon! A Shopping Mecca!

If Harrods is not exclusive enough, or you simply just want an experience, you should give the Fortnum & Mason a visit. Fortnum & Mason was in its time King Olav's favorite shop in London, and both the environment, selection and service is for a king. All employees are in details on every product, and the goods sold are of the highest quality, with prices accordingly. It's maybe not the best place for a middle class family to start their Christmas shopping here, but it's an experience to visit Fortnum & Mason.

If you like the more relaxed surroundings, take a ride on one of London's Christmas Fair. Macmillan Christmas Market and the Red Cross Christmas Fair are both good choices.

In addition to the traditional Christmas markets and upscale stores, one must not forget the main shopping street in the whole of London, namely Oxford Street. The street has Shoppe's in store with everything from food, clothing, toys, electronics, and it's the ultimate goal if you should have all the gifts done in the shortest possible time.

If you think it's a bit early to think about Christmas gifts you can easily burn the entire budget for yourself. London has a unique mix of markets, vintage stores, chain stores and small and large shops selling exclusive designer clothes. Here is the list of shops and places that you MUST have with you:

Agent Provocateur is a distinctive lingerie shop. Here are briefs, corsets, stocking holders and small fur slippers with sky-high heels. A must for women who want to surprise in the bedroom ..

Alexander McQueen has her store just off Piccadilly Circus, it's a shop for the design conscious woman. They also carry men's clothing,

Topshop is considered next to Zara as the best of all the world's cheapest stores. Topshop in Oxford Street is huge, and you need at least a day to get through the store. Topshop has clothes, shoes, handbags, jewelry and lingerie, and in addition to the store's designers included an hour you will also find a vintage section where you can make a killing.

Books for Cooks are a small bookstore filled with cookbooks from around the world. Perfect for hobby cooks!

Manolo Blahnik has a shop in London and is a must for shoe-crazy ladies. The shoes are gorgeous, but certainly not cheap, and a price of several thousand dollars for a pair of stilettos is normal.

Shelly is a cheaper shoe store with good selection of leisure shoes, boots and stilettos. Prices are fine, and the quality is good.

Stella McCartney's Bruton Street flagship store in the sky for poor design enthusiastic women. This is actually a designer store with friendly staff and prices that are almost affordable. They carry clothing, shoes and perfume.London! A Shopping Mecca!

Kurt Geiger is available at several locations in the city. The shoe store is exceptionally good at picking up trends from the catwalk, and also shoes from several British designers.

Jimmy Choo's has a shoe-store that has to be mentioned. Jimmy Choo store in London is full of exclusive shoes, and also has a good selection of Choo-bags. The prices are however not quite as pleasant.
