One of the most popular genres of books is the biography, a story that is not based on someone's imagination but on real life events of someone who you may have heard of or someone that may not be famous but has a brilliant story to tell.
Biography books can be all the more engaging because you know that the stories you read on the page actually did happen to someone - and these stories can provide shock, amusement or sorrow in equal measure.
