Therefore when our skin get damaged it either heals on its own or it may require skin grafting from the patient himself which is know as auto-graft or it can be taken from skin donor which is know as homograft. This grafted skin help in saving life of a burn victim as it prevents fluid loss and infection. According to experts many patients die due to the unavailability of skin in cases of extensive burn, electrical burn, deep burns, chemical burns and radiation burns. For this its important that there should be enough donor of skin available. Therefore skin banking is a new concept in which banking and storage of cadaveric skin is done and cadaveric skin transplant is done as per requirement of patient.

2. Another latest concept for skin treatment is stem to skin. As we now that most tissues of our body exist stem cells, which are self-renewable and develop into one or several other cell types as per requirement. As skin ageing happen due to impaired stem cell proliferation and mobilization. Till date bone marrow is the most important source of stem cells. Therefore stem cell suspension can be inserted into the skin by direct injections, mesotherapy or dermaroller techniques.

3. Then comes Bariatric surgery.
