Keep it short: Always make them understand that the topic of discussion should not be very personal. Don't ever make them share things like username and login ID's. It can turn out to be very dangerous for anyone who gives away their name, age, or hometown in their user name.

Online lies: It is impossible to verify someone's identity whom you meet online. So, do tell to your child about the dangers of flirting with strangers online.
