Even the way of performance including the facial expressions, the choice of words and the body language needs to be tailored as per the understanding level of the children.
3.It shall be borne in mind that the aim of magic show for children party is to create more fun and make it more amusing for the children. So, while entertainment objective is pursued, all the actions which can create fear or some negative feel shall be avoided.
4.The acts shall not give any wrong message to the children. Since the children learn interesting things quickly, they might be inclined to perform some of the tricks on their own. So, the tricks chosen shall be such that even if these are performed by the children, these are not harmful to them in any way.
5.Another thing to be considered is that the spectators at a magic show for children party are a group of children as well as their parents since the parents are likely to be present. So, even the parents might also need to be put on ease, not just the children. Therefore, if some magic trick requires the participation of children, then seemingly harmful tricks shall be avoided since these might not be liked by the parents.
While the magician might be good at his tricks, he needs to have a very good assessment of the comprehension ability of the target audience (which is not only the children but also their parents) and make selection and performance of tricks as per their understanding. The way of presentation matters a lot and this makes the difference between a good and a not-so-good magician.
