Kenya Airways is the largest Kenya airline that runs both local domestic and international flights around the world. Their hub is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, in Nairobi. Kenya Airways is a modern quality airline with a good safety record. Their fleet has more than 20 planes, including many large Boeing jets.
Kenya Airways code shares with KLM and Air France, giving passengers access to European destinations including Glasgow, Athens, Zurich, Birmingham, Manchester, Madrid, Berlin, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Rome, Copenhagen and Stockholm. The code share agreement meant that direct Kenya Airways services to the latter three were discontinued. Services to Seoul are provided via code share agreements with Korean Air. Kenya Airways has launched a new direct service between Nairobi and Luanda, Angola's capital. The route, which will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays, is to be handled in collaboration with Angolan Airlines (TAAG). The flight becomes Kenyan Airways 50th international destination and 41st in Africa.
Fleets:
The planes used by Kenya Airways are all fairly new, with several different models of aircraft making up their fleet. There are 10 Boeing 737s used for the entire local or regional flights within Africa. For longer trips and international travel, the airline has more than a dozen larger Boeing 767s, 777s and 787s. In 2006, they planned to upgrade their fleet to include several Boeing 787 Dream liners, as the first in Sub-Saharan Africa. The total fleet consists of 24 planes.

Premier Club Class 40 kilos
Economy Class 23 kilos
In addition to the free allowance, the following may be carried free of charge: a lady's small handbag, an overcoat, wrap or blanket, an umbrella or walking stick, a small camera, a pair of binoculars, infants' food for consumption en-route, an infant's carrying basket and a reasonable amount of reading material for the flight.
In-Flight Food & Entertainment:
Premier World entertainment on the Boeing 777 is AVOD (Audio Video on Demand). It includes around 10 to 15 movies and T.V shows. Economy class has NVOD as entertainment which is almost the same as AVOD. In Premier World there is a choice of which movie to watch at any time. Both classes include 12 audio channels that work throughout the flight. Food on flight includes a typical menu style Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert.
