Kate Hudson Joins Celebrity Neighbors in London
Actress Kate Hudson and her boyfriend Matt Bellamy have reportedly bought a home in London worth $6.44 million.
The star, who is pregnant with the Muse frontman, has reportedly purchased a property in north London as she was keen to spend half of her time in her lover's homeland.
She previously told OK! magazine, "I have a feeling I'll probably be spending a lot more time here. I don't know about full moves but a half move probably. I love it here but we both travel so much. I'll be around, wandering the streets!"
According to recent reports from the Mail on Sunday, the couple plan to complete the house with a nursery, games room and guest rooms.
Matt and Kate, who also has a seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, are said to be so ecstatic about their new home that they have already taken Kate's Hollywood legend mother Goldie Hawn and step-dad Kurt Russell to look around the area.
"Matt and Kate have shown Goldie and Kurt around the area and Matt took them all to Devon to meet his parents," the source added to Mail on Sunday 's report. "They also looked around Cornwall for a holiday home."
The star couple wont be lost for celebrity company in the capital. From Madonna's mansion in Marylebone to Gwyneth Paltrow in Belsize Park, London boasts more celebrity houses than most cities. The LA A-list are filling up the capitals mansions.
"When it comes to star spotting I would rate London in the top three with Los Angeles and New York," says James Bonney of Celebrity Planet, who run bus tours that take in a number of star properties in the capital. "Celebrities love London because of its culture and diversity."

"Priorities are generally prime locations and large properties with fantastic entertaining spaces and good security," explains Stuart Bennett, sales manager at Foxtons in Notting Hill. "Ideally it has to be as discrete/tucked away as possible while schools are also important. The mix of bustling city and green open spaces means there is an area to suit everyone in London."
With celebrities often seeking out their own kind, the capital has become known for its celebrity clusters. The rise of the Primrose Hill Set led by Jude Law, Sadie Frost and Kate Moss made North West London one of the coolest places on the planet in the mid 1990s and has fuelled a fascination in star migration patterns. For instance, the fact that Kate Moss recently followed the likes of Law and Sienna Miller to Highgate means the area is fast becoming known as the new Primrose Hill'.
