, "Jobs like these need expert handling". 'Jobs' a much used but a really less thought about word. What are jobs? What is the exact definition of a job? When does a normal task become a job? These questions are neither asked, nor answered.The word job has a lot of connotations and is used in many different ways in every day conversations. A person's obligations, responsibilities or things expected out of him or her as a duty can be called his or her job for example "it's your job to look after your parents in their old age". The status of a situation, an affair or an occurrence can also be called a job for example "this is very complicated job done here".
A group project or assignment being taken care of is also called a job for example "the theatre show was a long and tedious job". The way a task has been performed or given shape to can be called a job for example "that is not a very good job that you have done here". In the computer language, a job is the unit of work. It comprises of an application program or multiple related programs. It also has the links and instructions to the operating system that are essential for running the programs.
However, more commonly, a job is a specifically natured work, done as a part or the whole of someone's occupation or vocation for a decided amount of payment and/or incentive. This kind of a job can be full time or part time. A full time job generally requires professional training and/or a certain level of education. Or else a great deal of talent and recognised expertise. Such jobs are generally done after finishing one's higher education. They are secured after thorough examination and interviewing and require a person to work for the greater part of the day, generally on the workplace.
Part time jobs as the name suggests are jobs with a lesser time span that can be done while pursuing other interests. These kinds of jobs are generally taken up by students, housewives, temporarily unemployed people, or people who are not fully qualified for a full time job. Part time jobs are of two types from home and on the site jobs.
On the site jobs require the employee to be present at the workplace for a certain time period. Some examples would be a restaurant waiter, receptionist, babysitter, tuition teacher, a hobby tutor, assistant to a professional, event co-ordinator, host, performer etc. Such jobs can be pursued in the after hours by students as they require a lesser time span and qualification. They are basically skill based and not qualification based.
From the home part time jobs are basically online jobs. Nowadays more and more companies outsource a lot of their menial tasks; many of these tasks become inline part time jobs. Like copy writing, content writing, data entry, proof reading, editing. Apart from that online tutorial services, designing and counselling are some other part time jobs that can be pursued from home. As a source of some extra income.
