Jaipur Heritage International Festival

Kite Festival
This is another popular festival of Jaipur celebrated on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on 14th January. It is celebrated as the kite flying day in which people irrespective of their ages fly kites from dawn to dusk. On this day, one can see kites of varied colors and sizes enveloping the blue sky. The festival draws expert kite-makers and flyers not only from cities of India but also from across the world. Elephant Festival
This is another popular festival of Jaipur celebrated in the month of March. The grand celebration of this festival attracts scores of tourists from several parts of the world. In this festival elephant are dressed in colorful attire and decorated with gold and silvers ornaments. The colorful parade of elephants steals the heart of visitors who come here from several parts of the globe. During the festival, the elephants are taken out in procession, run races and play polo.
