Fifty years or more and so, years ago, women always have a well defined role in society. Women were housewives, end of story. They just stay at home and tend to the house and care for the kids while the hubby is still at work. Men were the leaders, women were the followers.
Women can multitask now; they can be a lover, a provider, an office worker, a friend, a daughter all at the same time; managing their families and their careers all at once. Men and women know what they want and they know what are the necessary means to get it and that includes setting aside traditional beliefs to pave way for more practical means.
There is women empowerment now. Women can have a say, they can manage well by themselves and take care of themselves. But it's still simple better if someone would watch your back for you. Everyone deserves to have a good and faithful partner to spend the rest of their lives with. Two is always better than one, and that date could be the one for you.
