If youve read a lot the online reviews about them then forget EVERYTHING youve read. Sure their customer service is shoddy at timesand yes theyve inadvertently charged overdraft fees to some when they shouldnt Just like ANY other bank But by and large, their service is adequate. And what they lack in customer service they make up for in other areas. Here are the pros and cons about this company: Pros Interest rates This should be one of your MAIN considerations in finding the right company. And their rates are generally higher than the competition. How are they able to pay more? Primarily because of their lack of branches around the globe. They have a decent amount but its a small enough amount that they dont have a ridiculously high overhead. Financial standing Like most banks today they have had their difficulties lately but they are FAR more stable than most other banks with comparable interest rates. Cheap Its not pricey to open an account when compared with other companiesobviously another positive. Cons Lack of a physical presence This is the MAIN negative with this company. They arent that well represented in certain countriesand depending on your location you might find it difficult to find a close by branch.
