Born on July 24, 1980, Agatha Sangma is the youngest minister of state cabinet of Meghalaya. She is a Member of Parliament of the 15th Lok Sabha. She is daughter of veteran Indian leader and politician P.A. Sangma. She is one of the highly educated and young politicians of India. This lady has done LLB from Pune University and has also done Masters in Environmental Management from Nottingham University, UK. She had joined Delhi High Court as well before entering into the world of politics. Agatha Sangma became youngest minister in the council of ministers of 15th Lok Sabha at the age of 29.
The second name in the list of young politicians is Sachin Pilot. He is the son of the deceased Indian leader and politician, Rajesh Pilot. He was born on 7 September 1977 and currently is Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology. Sachin Pilot represents Ajmer constituency of Rajasthan. He has done BA from Delhi University and MBA from Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. The facts that people dont know are that he is running a charitable trust Jai Jawan Jai Kisan Trust and that he loves shooting with pistol, and squash is one of his favorite games. Sachin Pilot became the youngest Member of Parliament at the age of 26.
Milind Deora is son of veteran politician Murli Deora and was born on 4th of December, 1976. He is a member of 15th Lok Sabha and is the youngest member of it as well. Milind Deora did his graduation in Business and Political Science from Boston University. Milind Deora is founder of SPARSH. This is an NGO which has a single aim - to make students computer literate. This organization is providing job oriented IT education to over one lakh students. He is also conducting free eye camps for the poor.
Akhilesh Yadav, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh is son of Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav. By education he is ME and has won three Lok Sabha elections since 2000. He is constantly working for the development of poor and downtrodden. He and Dushyant Singh, son of ex- chief minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, both were born in the year 1973. Dushyant Singh is also a member of 15th Lok Sabha.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, born in year 1971, Rahul Gandhi (1970) and Naveen Jindal (1970) are again sons of politicians. Rahul Gandhi among these three is comparatively more active and that is because of his rich political family background. He is son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Grandson of Indira Gandhi and great grandson of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. Rahul Gandhi is considered as the future prime minister of India by many.
