There are many festivals held every single year, with certain festivals held weekly in order to engage the tourist population. The Caribbean Festival is intended to showcase the music, dance, and food that you get on the island, and is held weekly. As such, if you get a chance you should always make sure that you attend.
Of course, it is also important that you head to the capital at some point as well in order to find out a little of the history of the island. Oranjestad is a beautiful capital city and here you can visit museums, parks, and markets in order to get a further fear of what the island has to offer.
