One thing you must remember though is that you are responsible for these children so you must be sure not to take on more than you can handle.
Many parents would certainly jump at the opportunity to be able to get their children out to the special events as opposed to just putting them into a daycare situation where they never get to enjoy a lot of the other things that are happening.
You could even become creative and plan your own kids play day where the parents would pay for you to be with the children for an afternoon or however long the event goes for.
In order to get yourself set up you would have to do a little bit of advertising first. In the beginning it may be difficult because parents don't want to trust their children to strangers and rightly so. You may have to get a Blue Card or child minding certificate to do this.
You would want to begin with the parents of children who know you and feel safe with you taking their children out. You could then use them as references when you're ready to branch out into areas where you are not so well known.
This business is something that you are not going to get rich at because you are only able to handle so many children, however, you would find that it would bring in some extra income.
