Several weeks ago I was in a very tight bind. I needed money and I needed it NOW. Quick, fast and in a hurry. I didn't want to take out a loan nor did I want to ask my parents for the money. So I sat down at my computer and started thinking of ways I could quickly bring in the cash that I needed. Then it hit me. I had done a lot of independent contract work for website owners and I knew one of they things the also need is someone to write articles for them.
So I headed over to one of the most popular internet marketing forums online, the warrior forum. The warrior forum is a great place to offer your services to website owners. So thats what I did. I put up an ad offering to write 250-300 word articles for just $3 a pop. I made this offer available for only 48 hours. I did this so people would feel a sense of urgency and act quickly to take advantage of what I had to offer them.
I then put my terms of service and added a paypal button to accept money. I set up my paypal button to only accept a certain number of articles ordered. After the number was reached, the button would automatically stop taking orders. This was so I would not get too many orders and become overwhelmed. I then paid the $20 posting fee and my ad was posted on the site. Please know that your ad must be approved before it goes live on the site.
About 10 minutes after I had posted the ad, I had my first sale. I was excited. I thought hey, this just might work. After the first day I had about $200 worth of orders. And by the end of the 49 hours, I had brought in a little over $651. Not bad for just writing articles.
