Holiday In Prague

Holiday In Prague

If you are thinking of going to Prague, then there are quite a few things you want

to be aware of before booking a holiday or going traveling there for any other reason. Prague is a fantastic city with a great deal of sophistication, culture and history but it is also a fairly daunting place in some respects. Knowing where to go in Prague makes an enormous difference as it is one city where you can easily spend far too much money but if you know what you doing, it's still a bargain destination.

Holidays to Prague can vary from the inexpensive to the luxurious, with a wide range of hotel accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets. There are a huge number of restaurants, and it would be impossible to make a visit to Prague and not visit the Old Town Square, watch the astronomical clock on the hour, and then enjoy a drink on the cobbled stones of the square itself as the horse-drawn carriages go by.

The best time to go to Prague is not in the middle of the summer unless you are fully prepared to be surrounded by hordes of tourists. Prague is possibly one of the busiest tourist cities in Europe so if you want to escape this and see more of the real Czech Republic, then I would personally recommend you don't go any earlier than September.

Prague is a great cafe culture that as you want to go ripped off, it is a good idea to avoid the Clock Tower Square and various other regions in the very centre. There are still many bargain places in the city and some are these are even hidden away in the form of quaint student bars and cafes right in the centre of town. It is just a matter of knowing where to find them.

There are also note of great day trips to do from Prague. A visit to the town of Kutna Hora is well worth it for example if you want to see the bone church (ossuary) and a beautiful medieval town. Czech Republic is also full of fairy tale castles and one of the castle's I recommend most to visit a day trip from Prague is that of Karlstein.

Getting there is easy and if you book early you can easily get a cheap flight to Prague. You can fly to Prague with British Airways, Easyjet, Expedia, Opodo and many more travel companies and you'll discover why so many people come to this great European city.
