For all those venturing on Hawaii holidays we have put together a few tips of things to avoid whilst on your stay so that you make the most of your holiday in paradise.Being a bit too adventurous The holiday season is a great time to try something new and Hawaii has many sport adventures for you to get involved in. Unless you have experience in the sport, we recommend that you get a lesson from a qualified instructor before you jump onto that surfboard or ride down that mountain. Your friends or family may try and teach you, but dont forget qualified instructors will teach you vital steps to keep you safe. So if you are looking to try something new be sure to have a beginners session beforehand.
Avoid sunburn Hawaii holidays guarantee sunshine but are also a danger zone for sunburn. The sun rays are so strong that you must sunscreen with high SPF protection to avoid getting burnt. For a more even application creams tend to work better than sprays. Also, dont forget to apply sunscreen to your feet and lipbalm on your lips. Other things you can do to protect yourself include wearing a hat and if possible avoid outdoor activities between 11 and 2pm, when the suns rays are at their strongest.
Keep your cool One thing youll notice about all Hawaii holidays is the slow pace. If youre used to hustle and bustle, you need to be prepared to swap the speedy running around for the slow paced lifestyle. So if you find yourself getting impatient or worrying about things not moving quickly, take a moment to relax and absorb all of your surroundings. Youll have a much better time if you submerge yourself in the leisurely Hawaiian lifestyle.
Enjoy the picture It will be difficult to put your camera down in Hawaii because everywhere you look will be a picture perfect view. To avoid taking too many pictures and spending too much time looking at the tiny camera screen we recommend taking it in turns to capture photos. The last thing you want is to feel you spent more time behind the camera than admiring the amazing views for yourself.
