You have been waiting on your family vacation time to get here and you just know that your plan will make for a very special time

The least expensive way to go there is by taking one of the South Rim bus tours that leave from Las Vegas.You do have the option of flying on a helicopter or airplane to get to the canyon and you may even get a rental car and make the drive on your own (which is not recommended). Some companies have begun to offer Deluxe Grand Canyon bus tours to their customers. Instead of using large buses that seat more than 40, these deluxe tours use smaller, deluxe motor coaches (or customized vans) with seating limited to around 12 passengers. They do come with a larger price tag but they will give you a more personal view than a standard bus trip. Some people who have taken these deluxe tours call their driver/guide a ?travel butler.? The passengers get to decide which places they want to visit on their trip.
South Rim bus tours typically give their passengers about three hours to explore the National Park. That typically gives them enough time. The bus will take a route that will allow you to see the Yavapai Point and Mather Point while you are riding on the bus. Your tour should also allow you to visit the Grand Canyon Village.
You will be able to visit museums, go to gift shops, and check out some of the restaurants (The Bright Angel Lodge is a favorite for many people).
You will also be able to make use of the park's shuttle system. You can catch these shuttle buses about every fifteen minutes for free and they will take you places that may not have been included in your bus tour. Using these coach tours to see all that you can at the Grand Canyon National Park is a great way to create wonderful memories for a reasonable price. They do take the biggest part of the day but you can be on the Vegas Strip by about nine in the evening. They're so rewarding they've become a must-do for anyone visiting Las Vegas. Put one of these South Rim bus excursions at the top of your to-do list while you're in the Vegas area.
