God's People are Recession Proof!!

Hello Christian family. It is your brother Michael Bond. Before you read this article get your bible out. God has a word for you. The current state of the economy has our nation in panic. The news forecasts are preaching gloom and doom. There are countless jobs being lost and countless homes being foreclosed upon. Some people have become hopeless while others have become desperate. The question still remains, "Who by worry can add a minute to their life?'. (Matt 6:26-32) If you are truly a child of God then the recession should be no more to you than another circumstance of the world from which you will surely be delivered. If you are a Christian with your mind set on God's person, his claims, and his wishes, then you are "recession proof". The only way you are not recession proof, is you are unaware of the possibilities which God's word has for your life.
There are 5 ways the blessed of God can ensure they are recession proof:
1. Pray for wisdom
2. Give
3. Forgive
4. Repent
5. Expect and Believe
The first way to ensure you are recession proof is to get "wisdom". What is wisdom? "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 1:7). Wisdom is "being able to see the outcome of a thing at the beginning of the process". Wisdom is letting what God thinks and would have you do in a situation override what you think and would do in a situation (Proverbs 1:5). When the bible speaks of "fear" of the Lord, it is saying to reverence and respect what God says as absolute wisdom. God sees everything, God knows everyone, and God is everywhere (Proverbs 4:7). If you have questions about any person, place or thing, wisdom says "ask God", since we all agree God knows more than we do. You should be consulting God for the course you are taking with your life right now since he sees the path which will be most beneficial to you. The bible says, "Wisdom is the principle thing (proverbs 4:7); do not compare the things you desire to her." God specifically says, "desire" because he knows you are much more impressed with what you "desire", as opposed to what you already possess. He says "wisdom is worth more than what you desire, so do not even compare it to those things." If this is the case we should be in pursuit of wisdom above all else (proverbs 3:13-16) I hope you get this revelation. Due to this recession, you pray for money, you pray for good health, you pray for better positions on your job. These prayers are not necessary if you acquire wisdom. Why? Because the bible says when wisdom shows up she brings "long life in her right hand and riches and honor in her left". Wisdom is greater than your prayers for money and success because when she shows up she has all that your prayers are seeking God for and more. The greater takes care of the lesser. When wisdom shows up the recession must go because of the prosperity which wisdom brings along with her. I pray you get this revelation. Amen. Darkness and light cannot co-exist. If you are in need of wisdom simply ask God for it.(James 1:5)
Secondly, giving in a Godly way will ensure you are recession proof. Giving is God's system of "seed time" and "harvest time", which supplies his earth. What seeds have you planted? Just like a farmer if you do not plant any seeds, you will not receive the harvest. It is simple. If you plant little, you will receive little. Giving is a form of worship to God because if you give because God has told you to, it shows faith and says to him you believe in his word and his process. God is moved through your faithfulness. The more faith your life shows, the more God will move on your behalf. All we possess is a gift of God. It all belongs to him. Actually, God has made you Steward over his property. The way in which you manage what God has given to you tells God how much he can trust you with later. "If you are faithful over little, God will make you faithful over much." Giving cheerfully shows your faithfulness over what God has trusted with you. The bible says, 'The Lord loves a cheerful giver" (II Cor. 9" 7-8) and whom God loves he cares for and supplies. Giving is the key which unlocks abundance in your life. When you refuse to give in a Godly way you are actually denying God worship. You are telling the almighty, all knowing, all present God his process for abundance is not sufficient for your life. I know that sounds ridiculous. God, in his word, clearly chronicles "giving" as pleasing to him. God also promises he will move on your behalf for your faithfulness in giving. (Mal. 3:10-11, Luke 6:38, Proverbs 3:9-10) the more you give, the more you ensure you will always be supplied. (James 1:17).
Thirdly, forgiveness is essential to your prosperity. To forgive and to be forgiven releases God's power into your life. God has commanded us to forgive each other and to ask for forgiveness (Ephesians 4:31-32, Acts 26:18). Forgiveness ensures you are walking in righteousness. God is obedient to his word and to perform it. If you are walking in line with his word he has no choice other than to come to your aid. (Luke 6:37, Romans 14:10) If you refuse to forgive someone or ask for your forgiveness, God has just cause to deny your blessings because you refuse to be obedient to his word. It is simple (Psalms 84:11).Forgiveness also keeps peace in your spirit. You must make room in your heart to harbor resentment and grudges. This limits your capacity for love therefore limiting God in your life since God is love. When you hold onto unforgiveness you break the peace in your spirit. When your spirit is disrupted, your communication with God is disrupted. As a result, your ability to hear from God is slowed or destroyed all together. Forgiveness keeps peace which keeps your spirit unified (Ephesians 4:3). God says those who walk in unforgiveness, walk in darkness. If you walk apart from the light, you walk apart from God. If you walk apart from God, you walk alone. You are at the mercy of the world (I John 2:9-11). God has said he has held many harvests from you because of your willingness to sin. Forgiveness is essential to prosperity.
A fourth aspect of being recession proof is repentance. If you are unrepentant God cannot move for you. What is being unrepentant ? It is refusing to acknowledge and correct sinful behavior. God's bible is like any other book of instruction. If you follow the instructions exactly you will receive the desired product. If you leave out and disrespect certain instructions, your end result will be less than what you desire. Because of your unrepentant sin, God is forced to turn from you. He can not dwell with sin (Isaiah 59:1-2). What many Christians forget is God does not bless or deny you blessings according to his personal feelings for you (Romans 2:11). He blesses you according to your faithfulness to his word. If you are dedicated to keeping his wishes, he is dedicated to your reward (Isaiah 59:19). The enemy cannot advance on you if God is obligated to protect you and your household. You obligate God to your protection by obligating yourself to following his laws. It is a trade God will be willing to make with you every time. I know criminals who have gone from receiving life in prison to being freed and becoming legal millionaires all because of their dedication to repentance. Repent to increase your power and God's obligations to you and your future. (Mark 2:17)
Lastly, but most importantly, what you do you believe and expect from God? It is easy to be a good Christian during Sunday service when there is no pressure. It is more difficult for some to be faithful when you are all alone with just God, yourself, and your issues (James 1:6-8). Your life today is the sum total of what you have believed and expected from God . If you are not satisfied with your present situation you need to increase what you are expecting and believing for in your life (Mark 9:23-24). I know sometimes doubt creeps into your mind but God is real so you must excuse "doubt" as a lie of the enemy meant to destroy you (Romans 15:13). I know this can sometimes be difficult but "believe only" (Mark 5:36). God has said you can have the desires of your heart and he has come so your life can be more abundant (John 10:10). It all starts and ends with your belief. God has a plan which will do more for you than any stimulus package or job ever could. He has something for you which will last long after your job has done all it can do for you. If you adopt these 5 simple principles, prosperity is yours and lack must flee. The recession will have no effect. I have written the vision. I pray you are able to run with it. (Hab. 2:2-3, Proverbs 29:18). Please pass this message on to someone who could us it.
