Chile capitalizing on their one man advantage due to Valon Behrami's expulsion at the 30 minute mark of the game was able to take a 1-0 victory. Switzerland, on the other hand still has a chance to qualify yet would need to defeat Honduras and hope that Spain does not get all six points from its remaining two games.
