During flowering season the Flower Show near Whyte Hall is another fascinating attraction of this place. Ropeway: It is among the most visited spots of Gangtok that is renowned for its ropeway which is 1000 meters above the ground. This ropeway operates between the main Secretariat Deer Park, Sikkim Legislative Assembly & the Tibetology at Deorali. Journey in the two cable cars of this ropeway is itself a fascinating thing but the breathtaking birds eye view of the Bhusuk river and the Deorali Bazaar is foremost attraction of this tour. Himalayan Zoological Park: The 205 hectares of this wildlife parks is a semi natural habitat of endangered animals. This park is the home of different species like Clouded Snow Leopard, Tibetan Wolves, Himalayan Black Bear, Red Pandas, Civet Cat, Barking Deer and other animals. It is also known for its beautiful gardens which have exotic collections of flowers and shrubs. Gangtok has several places of tourist interests. These places are famous for their scenic beauty and cultural importance. Some of the famous tourist attractions of Gangtok include Tsomgo Lake, Tashi View Point, Banjhakri Falls and many more. Beauty of the Gangtok can be enjoyed throughout the year but the best time to visit is between March to late May and October to Mid-December.
