2. Theatre. The West End area of London has long been known as one of the best places in the world to attend a theatre production. With there seeming to be a London theatre on every corner (there are over 40 in the West End alone), as with the cuisine aspect, it is possible to find a theatre showing a production that is suited to your tastes.
For instance, if you are looking for a London theatre version of a famous movie, then both Grease and Dirty Dancing are playing in London at the moment, with Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre and Dirty Dancing at the Aldwych Theatre. If you're looking for something that has been shown in theatres for years, then The Mousetrap can be seen at St Martin's Theatre, where it has been for 36 years and The Phantom Of The Opera is in its 24 year at the Her Majesty's Theatre.
3. London Eye. There is something spectacular about seeing a large city lit up at night. Whilst seeing it from ground level is awe-inspiring enough (especially if you're in the centre of Piccadilly Circus, surrounded by all of the electric billboards), it is rivalled by a view from above and the London Eye provides this opportunity the year round.
Open until 9.00pm from April to September (according to the London Eye official website), the London Eye slowly rotates passengers in a full 360 degree circle, reaching its highest peak of almost 443 feet at around the 15 minute mark, before it makes it's full rotation in just under 30 minutes..
4. Ghost Tour. As one of the oldest cities in England, London has an infamous history of death and gruesomeness and all over the city there have been many reported sightings of ghosts over the years.
