The full name of the immediate family of the deceased is also indicated on the file along with the details about the interment such as the place and date of the burial.

A fee of $5 is needed in order to process the retrieval of the death certificate in the state of Florida. Records that were registered since 1917 are available at the office of the Vital Records Section. Records that have been registered before 1917 have to be requested at the place where the person passed away. The only people who can obtain the death certificate are the immediate relatives of the deceased.

The request can be done by calling the office or by sending them a request letter which includes the information of the person you are looking for.
