The customers attitude can and will affect the entire flooring job.
2.Find out how long the practice has been in operation - for your safety they should be for at least 5 years in business
3.Check if they have general liability insurance and workman's compensation insurance. If you have any doubts, check with agent if it is current.
4.Does the company have permanent location and contact places? Look in the business yellow pages; does this company have a business listing and regular address, not a PO Box? What about business phone line instead of only a cellular phone. If not, the contractor could be working out of the back of his truck, and may not be there to honor any warranty issues.
5.Also, determine if the painter specializes in residential or commercial work.
