Spending your first Christmas alone after divorce can prove to be sad and lonely
. But it doesn't have to be that way. What you need to do is make plans well in advance. Make sure you keep yourself pre-occupied during the holidays. Formulate things you should do in order for you not to feel all alone on Christmas.Your ex-husband's business is not yours too anymore. They are not worth the effort of thinking and/or worrying about it. Just focus on yourself. Make yourself happy and contented. Being single this Christmas is not a thing that should be downed for. Do your thing and let them do theirs.
Make a memorable Christmas! Consider planning a party themed with something fun and unique. Your happiness depends upon how you handle yourself. It will also depend on how you'll manage to deal with the situations you are in. Holiday for single people can be fun if you focus on enjoying it.

But if snow gets you gloomy, you can choose to go where the bright lights are - Las Vegas. People who don't like spending Christmas alone go here. The city is filled with magnificent hotels and casinos, elegant restaurants, impressive shows and wild nightclubs. And let's not forget about Elvis impersonators and endless buffet tables. You won't get lonely in Vegas.
But in case you are a busy person, you can consider staying at home. Just be sure you won't forget to buy some mouth-watering foods and goodies. Christmas could also be just for yourself. And to complete the celebration, give yourself a gift to remember for a lifetime.
You may also consider having a house party with your other single friends. You can choose not to be all alone on Christmas. If they would just stay at home, and you would also do the same, why not get together. Have a Margarita party or a board game night, anything different.
Spread the love! Do charity work and spend the season making you and other people happy at the same time. Don't be afraid that your kids will not be happy on choosing whom they will be spending Christmas with. You may discuss the matter with your ex husband. Exert effort to keep yourself busy. Doing so will make you realize that you did not really spend your first Christmas alone after divorce.
