Finding A Person For Free Using Online Sources

Gone are the days of having to pay high prices for a private investigator to locate a missing person

. In times past, before the Internet revolution, it was an expensive process to go about finding any missing person. Fortunately, those days have changed with the Internet and along with the development of very accurate and efficient search engine technology.

In the past, it could cost literally hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a private investigator to invest the time in finding a missing person. There were no centralized databases available for the private investigator to search in. His only options were to go from state to state of the last known residences of the missing person and search databases in those local states and cities. Also, many of those databases in times past were not open for public viewing in the private investigator usually had to pull some strings in order to view them.

It's almost unbelievable how the cost for finding a lost person has come down to almost zero in the past 20 years due to the advance of the World Wide Web. We now have access to all those many databases in cities and states that once were difficult to search with if not impossible to gain access to.

The process of searching for a missing person today simply involves going to a major search engine and typing in the names and last known addresses for those people we are looking for. If you have a last known phone number for that person, that can be quite helpful to. Be sure and not limit your searches to the first page of search results. Oftentimes these types of searches cannot be relied upon to be very accurate and show up on the first page. We suggest going through at least the first 10 pages of search results when you are looking for a missing person.

Also, be aware that not all search engines provide the same results. You can do the same search in another search engine and get totally different results. It's best to try all 3 of the top search engines before giving up.

Fortunately the only cost for using the search engines nowadays to find a lost person is the time investment you put into using them. They are all completely free to use for no-cost. If you have a high-speed Internet connection you're able to search them as often as you like and as many times as you like.
