January
New Year: Most Mexican guys like to celebrate New Year eve with families on dinners. If you like to go party then try afterwards. You can enjoy festival in Mexico's streets where you can be part of huge street festival including firecrackers, fireworks and sparklers.
International Bird Watching Festival: You can have well end of January with birdwatching festivals. The Mazatlan Bird Festival is a bird watching event at the end of January in the beautiful port city of Mazatlan, at the gateway to the Sea of Cortez in Northwest Mexico.
Jose Maria Mercado Day - You can end your January with Jose Maria Mercado. People like to celebrates friendship between San Blas and the village of Ahualulco. Jose Maria Mercado was the priest from Ahualulco who captured San Blas and Tepic from the Spaniards.
February
San Blas Day you can enjoy fireworks around 9.30 pm at plaza. People come from many miles and you could not get parking places around there. Fireworks after 9.30 Pm makes this day very festivals where you can see true beauty of crackers.
Constitution day - immediately following San Blas Day. In fact from the last week of January thru the first week of February is a Bridge Holiday with events almost every day.
