The National Museum, found at Padre Burgos Street has an extensive collection of artworks that date back to the 19th-century. The biggest crowd puller here is the huge artwork known as "Spoliarium" by Juan Luna who was awarded a gold medal at the National Exposition of Fine Arts in Spain in 1884. The sculptures of Rizal Park are also well known among a wide collection of artworks found here. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The San Agustin Museum is a well known private museum showcasing the Augustinian monastery art collection. The old paintings of vestments, Santos and Carrosas bear every characteristic of the era. Bangko Sentral Complex is where the Metropolitan Museum of Art is found. It has many artworks of local and international artists. An extensive collection of gold and pottery are also showcased here. The museum is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except on Sundays and holidays. The Museo ng Kalinangang Pilipino situated at the Cultural Centre of Philippines displays a wide collection of Asian musical instruments, archeological and Islamic artworks. It is worth to check out the collection at Ayala Museum down Makati Avenue, GSIS Museum and Archives at the Financial Center of the CCP Complex, The Lopez Memorial Museum situated at the corner of Meralco Avenue and Tektite Road and the University of Santo Tomas Museum of Arts and Sciences which is the oldest museum in the country.
