It provides shelter to around 19 amphibian species, 20 orchid species, 26 mammal species, 101 butterfly species and 132 bird species. The largest moth in the world called the Atlas Moth is also found here. Anamudi Peak, the highest peak of South India is located within the premises of the Park. You can enjoy trekking to the peak.

Periyar National Park

It is a Tiger Reserve located in the Thekkady district of Kerala. It is a home to around 27 amphibian species, 38 fish species, 45 reptile species, 160 insect species and 320 bird species. The Periyar Lake in the Park is another attraction here.

Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

It is an enchanting destination of South India which is under consideration by the UNESCO World Heritage committee for selection as a World Heritage Site. It boasts of a variety of wildlife species, starting from amphibians to reptiles, mammals and birds.
