While visiting this beautiful city is wonderful to get to take in some of the incredible parks that are scattered all around
. These beautiful parks offer a wonderful place for picnics, biking or skating, or just to stroll and enjoy the scenery and incredible landscapes. Most cities have a park for the visitors but very few offer a diverse selection of parks that is comparable to Brisbane.The Roma Street Parklands is a very civilized park with manicured lawns nice and green and covered seating areas or for specific functions. E 'known for its variety of different plants, and numerous displays of public art in everything. Once a train yard bad that this region is now a maximum of visiting Brisbane at least occasionally, and enjoy very much.
Wynnum Park is one of the most popular parks for families living in the area and those visiting Brisbane with young children. The park offers water views and a cool breeze bay and of course one of its most popular features is the incredible wadding pool in the park itself. Wynnum Park is within walking distance of shops ice cream and fish and chips perfect for those who have forgotten to bring a picnic with them to enjoy the park.
For the botanist in the group the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens is by far the best place to admire the wonderful gardens and the incredible plants that cover these grounds. There is a bamboo grove and a cactus garden to walk through and enjoy and this park is within walking distance of the JC Slaughter Falls for those who want to take a bushwalk over to this lovely scenic area. If you enjoy flora then you will love strolling around these Botanic Gardens.
Rocks Riverside Park is unique in that it is an amphitheater and a large lawn that can be enjoyed by individuals or large groups can reserve for events. There are also bike paths, dog walking area, and is a great place to take children for an afternoon of Frisbee in the sun. This park is also located on the river, which offers breathtaking views over the city.
