Elton John Tickets - Don't Get Face 2 Face With A Sick Elton John!
Swine flu worries are running rampant, and Sir Elton John has been diagnosed with a serious case of E
. coli bacterial infection and influenza. Things are in serious disarray this season as fans and performers battle off nasty bugs and infectious flu strains. Elton John and Billy Joel are currently on a Face 2 Face trek across the U.S., but in light of Elton John's illness, three dates have been postponed indefinitely.A notice to fans was promptly added to John's website that read: "Organizers of the events are working to establish new dates." Patrons are being told to hold onto their tickets for the immediate future while all of the details are sorted out. These postponements come not long after Billy Joel was struck with the flu in July and the pair was forced to issue cancellations for that month, as well.
Billy Joel and Elton John have been attracting thousands of fans to their collaborative concerts, where the two start each evening by playing several duets with twin pianos and trading vocals. The musicians then perform separately before joining together again onstage for the grand finale. Each performance includes some of their greatest hits as well as a selection of rock 'n' roll classics. Hopefully Elton John and Billy Joel will remain healthy throughout the remainder of their tour. This isn't the first time that Elton John and Billy Joel have shared a stage. They first toured together in 1994 and in 2003 they embarked on their most recent Face 2 Face outing, which was a sold-out, 24 date journey. Elton John rose to popularity during the 1970s and managed to stay current on the charts through the 1990s with his incredible melodic skills and unmatched charisma.
