There's nothing like the feeling of having to go to the hospital for an unexpected problem and then finding out that your financial life is about to go down in flames because you didn't take care of your priorities in the first place. Not having insurance is a life changer because no one knows when disaster will strike and if you don't have insurance you are messing around with not only your family's future but also you own life.Diseases are all around us and every day it seems that we learn of someone else getting ill or dying. Doctors can't guarantee anything and any private hospital can deny you service, so If your disease is not life threatening, it is a great idea to make sure you can be covered by anyone regardless if it is public or private.
It is also important to remember that doctors only take their oath to take care of a person who is in immediate danger Follow-up procedures are not of their concern and not covered by any medical morals. You are on your own and the doctors are not required to help out, especially since they are at the risk of not getting paid for their services.
It might be a great thing that doctors take an oath upon their elevation to the medical field, but it all comes down to money and that's where it's up to you to have the best insurance policy you can possibly own to make sure you are in good hands.
