Studies after studies had shown repeatedly that a few seconds of taking your eyes off the road is very dangerous. People who use mobile phones whilst driving also have slower reflexes even if they see an obstacle to be avoided. This is because their minds' attention is focused on their phone conversation or text message.
These things alone should make you think seriously of getting a car insurance quote that meets your needs. Motorists today caught using hand-held mobiles will see their insurance quote go up by a hefty percentage, as being caught and you will face penalty points on your license as well as fines. Even those using hands-free mobile phones are not spared, their licenses will get slapped with penalty points.
