It's often a good idea to buy a sheet which complements the rest of the bed linens in the baby's room, this will help it all to appear nice and coordinated. Make two panels of curtains for every single window, each one being the same width as the window, so that the curtains will be good and full. When measuring and cutting the fabric, make sure you add an extra six inches onto the length and about two inches of width, which should be enough for the top opening for the curtain rod and also for the hem. Sew a small hem on the right and left edges of each panel. Then, stitch a deeper hem along the bottom so that the window curtains will hang nicely. Along the top edge, fold the cloth over twice to create a pocket deep enough for holding the curtain rod.
