Building rapport with a woman is essential, it's something that you have to do, but the fact is- too much of it ends up qualifying you as a friend and nothing more. The average guy is actually pretty good at doing this, but the problem ends up being that he creates too much of this feeling as he keeps on trying to appear like the perfect guy for her. You have to also give her some contrast in your personality, so that you seem more like a guy she wants to get to know on a different level than friendship.
2. She needs to see in you something that gets her excited.
It's pretty much human nature to find people who get us excited to be much more attractive to us.
