Creating Mlm Cash Flow

Having positive network marketing cash flow is critical to long term success in your network marketing business

. Today I want to use the example of Bill and Mary, who have just started a new network marketing business. In this example, we are needing to take into account the expenses they would incur each month for things such as autoship orders, training materials, travel to company meetings and client contact meetings. For the sake of illustration we will estimate those expenses at $540 per month.

To keep their business up and running, Bill and Mary need to create a sufficient stream of income to cover this monthly operating expense or they will be forced pull from their own personal savings, or even worse, required to take on costly consumer debt.

Today I want to give you a terribly underutilized method for creating a positive flow of cash for your network marketing business. This strategy involves the use of a monetized marketing funnel as the primary business building tool of their MLM lead generation process. The monetization of the marketing funnel is accomplished through the addition of affiliate marketing products and services to the funnel.

Here is the way this monetization of the funnel process works. For the purpose of illustration, we'll assume that Bill and Mary's network marketing business is built around a company that markets nutritional supplements, and the core product is a complete nutrition package that retails for $150/month. Following commonly stated statistics we would expect that five out of every 100 people that Joe and Sally present their product to make a purchase. If Bill and Mary are making $75 per sale, they will need approximately 7 sales per month to cover their cash flow requirement of $540 per month. This means that they will need to present their network marketing business to a minimum of 140 times each month, simply to break even. No wonder so many wash out so quickly.

Now let's look at this same illustation with the addition of a monetized marketing funnel to the network marketing business model. Bill and Mary do some research and they find a video series that explains the benefits of nutritional supplements in promoting overall health. This video series sells for $39.95, with 50% going to Bill and Mary. Bill and Mary also begin marketing a healthy living cookbook that retails for $29.95 with 50% going to Bill and Mary. Bill and Mary's marketing efforts bring 100 people per day to each of their affiliate pages, where they experience a 5% conversion rate. Here is what now happens to the cash flow in Bill and Mary's network marketing business:

Video Series - $99.88/per day x 30 days = $2,996.25 per month

Cookbook - $74.88/per day x 30 days = $2,246.25 per month

Total affiliate marketing revenue = $5,242.50 per month

Even after subtracting the $540 per month for their network marketing business expenses, Bill and Mary now have a positive cash flow into their business of $4,702.50 per month that can be reinvested into their business, put into for savings, used for debt reduction or even to take that long overdue vacation. The most exciting part of this illustration is that this income was generated without one sale from their network marketing opportunity.

Even more exciting is the fact that Bill and Mary have now also generating a marketing list of 300 people per month who are warm towards their niche and have already said yes to Bill and Mary. Bill and Mary now have placed these 300 people into their marketing funnel and can begin presenting their primary MLM business to these prospects.

Poor cash flow can be a MLM business killer, but the simple addition of a proven marketing funnel to your business, can not only meet, but far exceed this need. Improving the income stream into your businesss will give you additional capital to work with as you build your network marketing business.
